Lindab Magestic becomes quickly patinated; after just six months you can usually see a significant difference in how the material has changed, and after a few years it has a darker appearance that it sympathetic with the environment.
Magestic galvanised is a recently developed and more advanced rust protection for steel. Lindab Magestic Seamline is ZM310 which has 24 microns of coating on each side consisting of 3% magnesium, 3.5% aluminum and the rest zinc, meaning Magestic is extremely corrosion resistant.
Through proper testing in tough environments, we have ensured that Lindab Magestic can be mounted in environments up to class C4. Magestic galvanised steel can be used in coastal areas where the salt content in the air is high and in environments where the alkali is high, e.g. in agriculture. Magestic can be used in all applications where galvanised steel sheet was previously used.
